Well just a tad over a year since Sarg's closed its doors in do miss it as said before my coworkers were like family it's nice to see some of the people and talk about it alot has happened in my life after bar I'm a family Guy now 4 kids and a great quirky gal still do car/truck things now and again still do construction still do some stage work and mow now and again also just recently took a job at Arnolds park as security and also help with stage work I don't get much time away from regular life I'd like to hang with the guy I still call boss "pat" life happins and it continues to go enjoy the ride people and again thank you for the great memories!

So its been over a month now since we've been closed people ask me several questions what am I doing with my weekend nights and do I miss it? Well weekend nights are nice to have back I get to go to bed at a normal or more normal time spend time with friends and family and my saturday and sunday mornings are now a viable option to use as far as missing it? Thats a double edged sword I miss my coworkers and the fun after hours clean up and I do miss the customers that were regulars and nice easy goin people my boss I also miss tho he stops by now and again and I need to keep in touch with him more I do not miss the DRAMA senseless arguement and babysitting adults the late/early mornings police reports or police following me home and or pulling me over I will say it was still more fun then not and met alot of great people but remember people its a bar if you have kids or a family enjoy them spend time with them

I along with Pat Viv scott Jason Tyler and the rest of the Sarg's crew would like to thank everyone for coming out Friday June 26, 2014 a day that will go down in history! What a great night and a great turnout! I myself talked to many and so I have never met or seen that shows how deep Sarg's legacy goes! I wished I could have been part of the team in the 80s and 90s I enjoyed working there and learned alot and alot about people will I miss it yes but time goes on things change im glad I made the decision to work here and wish evryone a great summer and allways pass the memories of Sarg's on! It is a place that truly can never be replaced sure its just a building with people in it however what we had was irreplaceable! Employees that were like family got along great and a Boss "Pat" that is unlike any boss, he cares and he and his home was allways there for us if you ask me what my last words are I would say GET ALONG! it is not hard! Someone calls you a name? Big deal! Get over it looks at you funny? Try stop looking at them! Remember it take 2 to fight or argue if one stops or walks away its over or its only one person yelling so that person will look silly and will stand out and problem will take care of itself so lets be nice if you cant get along at all avoid them dont talk or try to talk or look at them I hope to see you out and about and dont be afraid to say hi again thanks all to have came out to Sarg's and enjoyed life thats what its all about and just because were gone dont mean were gone on here feel free to comment or post Sarg's related pictures on here

Ok folks as most know Sarg's will be closing its doors July 1st under ownership of pat pat has owned it for 38 years and in/around the business before that I JR who you may also know as the "door guy"/bouncer have known pat for as long or longer then some of u have been alive! Pat asked me to join his team in 1998 I was freshly 21 and he knew me and trusted me for the position I wasnt keen on the idea at first I dont really like gettin involved in peoples affairs/probs however im glad I did! I met a lit of great people it got me out of my circle of comfort and forced me to interact with different people contrary to many belief im not the bar type im very simple person and drama free which the bar scene was the opposite why im posting I really dont post on here much is Pat is not only my great boss hes also a great friend I also hang with him off hours so what I wanna do is start a facebook post of memories pat is not a facebook user dont really beleive in social media hes very old school that way what I would like to do is have people comment on memories and times had here he will get to read them he knows he has touched lives but im sure he wants to hear stories he loves talking and conversation so please if you would comment your memories and experiences had at this wonderfully place of gathering and I know some not so good memories have also happened so lets keep the drama out and post good times thanks all for being all apart of our lives and thank you pat for giving me the opportunity to be a part of the team/family
