We’ll have every NFL game available every Sunday, so you won’t have to miss your team.

We’re a local pub welcoming everyone! We’re not affiliated with any one team, but we are in North Carolina — so when the Panthers are playing, Panthers sound will be on!

🥃 Something special has arrived at The Pub of Southport.

We’re excited to announce our first-ever Buffalo Trace barrel pick! 🥃

Our GM, Patrick, had the opportunity to travel to the Buffalo Trace Distillery and personally take part in selecting this barrel for The Pub of Southport.

While there, Pat was guided through a tasting and tour by two legends of the Buffalo Trace family — Jimmy and Freddy. Spending time with both of them and hearing the history of Buffalo Trace firsthand was truly a special experience.

If you ever get the opportunity to take a tour with either of them, do it. You won’t forget it.

Both Jimmy and Freddy are third-generation Buffalo Trace employees, carrying on a remarkable family legacy and deep connection to the distillery.

That history, tradition, and craftsmanship are a big part of what makes this bottle so special to us.

Have a sip. Enjoy the dram. 🥃

🏈 FOOTBALL SUNDAYS AT THE PUB OF SOUTHPORT 🏈

Football is back, and we’re making Sundays a little more fun at The Pub.

We put together a weekly food schedule that mixes in different food trucks and a few Sunday Pot Luck themes. The idea is to break things up, give everyone something different to look forward to, and make football Sundays about more than just what’s on the TVs.

And because a little friendly competition never hurts… we’re adding Chili & Meatball Competitions throughout the season. Bring your best recipe, let everyone try it, and earn yourself some serious bragging rights. 🏆

On Sundays that are not a Pot Luck, we ask that everyone supports the food truck that is here for the day. They’re bringing the food, we’re bringing the football, and together we can make Sundays a great time for everyone.

So grab your crew, pick your team, and come hang out with us for football Sundays at The Pub. 🍻

Jeff is a rock musician from Baltimore who’s now local to the area. Expect an eclectic mix of songs from the 50s to today, forgotten favorites, singalongs, great guitar work, and a setlist that can change on the fly. You never quite know what he’ll play next.
