Thirteen years ago, we introduced our original house blend. It was a tremendous success, and we carried it until 2019. Many of you were disappointed when we decided to discontinue it. However, with the onset of the COVID era, and a change in the cigar company producing our blend, we felt it was the right decision at the time.

Now, nearly seven years later, we’re proud to launch a truly exclusive new house blend: Mickey Blake’s Founders Selección. We partnered with one of Nicaragua’s most respected factories to craft four exceptional blends for your enjoyment. Our Connecticut is a mild blend with with a smooth finish. The Habano picks up the spice, and brings a welcomed medium body. The exclusive Alma de Hombre Connecticut Havana Seed Box Pressed ramps up the strength and body while delivering amazing flavor. And our San Andres Box Pressed gives you a full bodied option that doesn't disappoint.

Well fellas it's been quite a ride. 14 years of good friends and great memories. Earlier than I wanted to go out, but I understand the economic climate we're in. The perfect storm of tariffs, gas prices and online buying makes it very difficult for brick and mortar cigar shops. But I walk out of here knowing that I gave it my best and I have no regrets. Attached, you'll find some of those great memories here.
I know Mickey Blake's will continue to thrive. With Marco and Lou, who by the way have been great to work for, things will improve and things will get better. Mickey blakes isn't going anywhere. We're the number one shop in this state for a reason.
This is not goodbye. Just so long for now... and I'll see you down the road.
