🥃 ON THIS DAY IN WH***EY HISTORY

On July 15, 1794, federal officials arrived at a farm in western Pennsylvania to serve a subpoena over unpaid wh***ey taxes. Shots were fired, setting off the confrontation that would become the first bloodshed of the Wh***ey Rebellion.

For Pennsylvania’s early farmers and distillers, wh***ey was more than a drink. It transformed grain into a valuable product that was easier to transport and helped families earn a living on the frontier.

More than two centuries later, Pennsylvania’s independent spirit and proud distilling heritage continue.

Our Legacy Bourbon commemorative bottle featuring General David Petraeus, with the first 50 signed by him, was a huge success!!
