What's new? Brewed a pumpkin ale last weekend, made with real pumpkin and plenty of cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and ginger to spice things up! Transferring the brew to the secondary fermenter tonight.

Brewing update: On Sunday, the Belgian tripel was racked to the secondary fermenter. Took a gravity measurement to check the current alcohol content: 9.1%ABV...and still a ways to go before it's finished! Label is almost done, as well.

This is what happens when you brew a high gravity Belgian tripel and your fermentation bucket is not big enough...the fermenting beer bubbles up through the airlock. Messy, but no worries, the batch will be OK.
