Musicians and teachers Michael and Anney Barrett opened The Green Room in 2013 to offer Somerville a bright and comfortable studio space for the arts. Our 500-square-foot space brings entertainment to Union Square with music classes, jazz concerts, and monthly piano karaoke. Though we're known as a music venue, we'll rent our space out to anyone who needs it, from stand-up comedians to lecturers a

nd businesses. We're excited to be a space for our fellow community members and their passions, and we can't wait to share our affinity for the arts with our neighbors.
