It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our father, grandfather, and great-grandfather Robert Miller, Mark’s dad, who left us Friday morning, May 1, 2026.
He was truly the heart behind so much of what we do, our biggest supporter at the restaurant, always ready to run errands, lend a hand, or step in wherever he was needed. Many of you were greeted by his warm smile, especially on Sundays after church, where his deep faith was a guiding part of his life, and when he and his wife faithfully served as our unofficial welcoming committee.
He shared a beautiful, lasting love with his wife and was incredibly proud to be part of the Pile family, holding those relationships close to his heart. Above all, he loved his family deeply and was incredibly proud of his grandchildren, who brought him so much joy.
He was also the unofficial “mayor” of our annual Pine Grill Golf Tournament each August. He never missed the chance to zip around the course on a cart, stopping to chat, laugh, and check in with everyone along the way.
His kindness, dedication, strong faith, and love for both family and community will never be forgotten. We are so grateful to have shared him with all of you.
