We are truly honored and humbled.

Recently we received a United States flag that was flown over the Wisconsin State Capitol on May 5, 2026—the anniversary of our 31st year in business.

Along with the flag, we received a certificate commemorating Sportsman’s Bar & Grill’s 31 years of serving the Somerset community.

For a small family-owned business, this recognition means more than we can put into words.

We want to extend our sincere thanks to Representative Rob Kreibich for this thoughtful honor, and most importantly, to all of you. For 31 years you’ve supported us, celebrated with us, brought your families through our doors, and made Sportsman’s what it is today.

This flag may have flown over the Capitol, but it represents the people of Somerset who made this journey possible.

Thank you for 31 amazing years. Here’s to many more.

THANK YOU, SOMERSET

Just like that, another Pea Soup Days is in the books.

50 gallons of homemade pea soup…
GONE.

Shot Up shirts…
GONE.

The memories, laughs, friendships, and stories made this weekend…
Priceless.

Thank you to everyone who stopped in, shared a meal, enjoyed a Bloody Mary, earned a Shot Up shirt, grabbed a bowl of pea soup, or simply spent part of their weekend with us.

A special thank you to our amazing staff who worked hard all weekend and to the community that continues to support us year after year.

For 31 years, we’ve been honored to be part of Somerset and Pea Soup Days, and weekends like this remind us why we love what we do.

From Ed, Missi, and the entire Sportsman’s crew…

THANK YOU. ❤️

We’ll see you soon

SPORTSMANS BAR AND GRILL PARKING WARNING FOR PEA SOUP DAYS VISITORS

We had a 70 yr old woman come in to purchase pea soup on her husbands death anniversary. We were busy, and by the time she was able to purchase it and go out to her car Circle K manager had it towed by GTK towing, who the manager at Circle K may have a relationship with an employee at GTK. I questioned her and her male colleague. They stated to me it is posted everywhere clearly and they’re able to do this. I honestly told them that karma will come back around. They both stated to me that it’s not their problem. We’ve received multiple reports of vehicles being towed from the Circle K lot during Pea Soup Days weekend. After walking the property ourselves, we found very limited visible signage throughout the parking lot stating Circle K parking only and “No Festival Parking” or “Tow Away Zone” signs throughout the lot. These photos were taken today.

Whether you agree or disagree with the policy, please be aware that parking in this lot could result in your vehicle being towed.

We’d hate to see anyone’s Pea Soup Days weekend ruined by a tow bill and the hassle of retrieving a vehicle.

Please park carefully, read all posted signs, and make sure you are parked in an approved location.

Share this post so nobody gets caught by surprise.

The parade is coming, the patio is open, breakfast is on and the pea soup is hot. See you at Sportsman’s!

PARKING UPDATE FOR PEA SOUP DAYS

We’ve learned that some parking areas many people expected to use this weekend are unavailable, and several streets around downtown are posted with parking restrictions due to parade routes and public safety requirements.

Please pay close attention to all parking signs and restrictions before leaving your vehicle. We would hate to see anyone’s Pea Soup Days weekend interrupted by a ticket or Tow.

If you’re planning to visit downtown Somerset this weekend, our best advice is:

1) Arrive early
2) Allow extra time to find parking
3) Watch for posted restrictions
4) Be patient and enjoy the festivities

Most importantly, don’t let parking challenges keep you away. Our local businesses work hard all year for this weekend and would love your support.

Whether you’re stopping in for homemade pea soup, one of our famous Bloody Marys, a cold drink, lunch, dinner, or just taking a break from the crowds, we’re excited to see you.

Let’s make it a great Pea Soup Days weekend and support the businesses that make downtown Somerset special.
