Please share this post for everyone to so they don’t have excuses for why they didn’t follow the rules. I hate to be the jerk but events need to have rules if we want them to operate smoothly!
We are looking forward to a great weekend and hoping the weather is in our favor this year to have a great rodeo! 🤠

Here is an updated 2026 June 19th and 20th map of Solway and the rodeo grounds, gates, contestant parking or camping, rough stock gate is different from all other rodeo contestants. We will now have a table over at the rodeo contestants camping and parking at Isaiah’s for you to get wristbands and not have to ride to the rodeo grounds to get them. We will have a shuttle going back and forth for contestants and family also to get on from Isaiah’s camping and parking area.

Slack contestants! DO NOT PARK YOUR TRAILERS IN THE RODEO GROUNDS FIELD! YOU WILL BE ASKED TO PACK YOUR THINGS BACK UP AND MOVE IF YOU CHOOSE TO. You can park them at Isaiah’s or back on Thomas Jefferson for slack. Look at the map to make sure you understand this.

Gate A- walk in spectators only. For people who park around our little city of Solway to enter into the rodeo grounds

Gate B- Contestant entrance, (Please have your wristbands visible for the gate staff. Spectator shuttle drop off and pick up, Contestant campground wagon shuttle drop off and pick up, VIP, Handicap, ATV, Employee parking and camping only. This will be weather permitted like the last couple years. We will have a back up plan otherwise so stay tuned if the weather is crappy. If it is to wet we will have a diffrent plan for everyone. Sorry but I either have people mad at me for not letting them on the field because you would get stuck or I would have people mad at me because they are stuck and can’t get back off the field so we will decide closer to the event the route we will take.

Gate C- Wojo’s staff and Rough stock only allowed through gate C to park in the rodeo grounds field. Spectators walking from Solway school can also enter this gate. You will be shown how to exit this entrance if you are not one of these and choose to test your luck.

Gate D- VENDORS AND WORKERS ONLY! Nobody else allowed in this gate.

A HUGE thank you to 66 Marine out of Crosslake. We just purchased a tri toon from them since ours got wrecked during the rodeo last year in the storm. These guys have been the absolute best and have taken great care of us and always answer our calls and any questions we have. They stop by every time they pass through at JD’s and over all just a great amazing business. So thank you again 66 marine for your bronze sponsorship for the 2026 rodeo. We hope to have your support in the up coming years and we will see you all soon. Thanks again Brady, Shawn, Jeff and crew! You guys are Amazing.

Remember if your looking for a place to camp close to the rodeo Bergamo Campground is right down the road a 1/2 mile or so. Call them and get your spot booked you will be close to the rodeo grounds and they even have shuttling available. Dale and Patti have a beautiful place and will make sure you are taken care of.

Another annual fun event we have held the past 5 years that everyone enjoys.

Get your teams signed up ASAP. This tournament fills up every year and a good time is held by all! Just ask whoever has been apart of the event.

We still have Bronze, Silver, gold & Rose Gold sponsorship packages let but need to have them in by the end of this week to make sure you are on the banners for recognition at the rodeo.

Sponsorship packages will be out by the end of the week! Call me if you didn’t get one. I always worry I am going to forget someone. Lots to keep track of and I am human and not all there sometimes so please if you don’t receive you package by Friday reach out. I do apologize ahead of time if I missed you. I would never intentionally do that. My communication comes from many ways phone calls,texts, emails, fb messages and if I’m not in the right place I can forget to get it in the right area by the time I get there.
