It’s TIPSY TUESDAY 🍸!! The summer heat is here, so it’s the perfect time to share this recipe from for a PINK LEMONADE COCONUT MIMOSA (with a small tweak by me). It’s a sweet, tart, bubbly drink with added hydration (via coconut water). It’s the perfect addition to brunch, a wedding/baby shower, Sunday Funday, GNO and more. Cheers to summer!! 🥂

INGREDIENTS
Serves 4
•2 cups chilled Real Coco Pink Coconut Water 
•3 tbsp. fresh-squeezed lemon juice
agave
•Prosecco or Rose Champagne (seltzer for a mocktail), for topping
To garnish: fresh raspberries and lemon wheels

DIRECTIONS 
Stir together coconut water and lemon juice in a pitcher. Add agave to taste. Garnish each glass with a raspberry and lemon wheel. Fill glasses halfway and top with prosecco, champagne or seltzer to finish. Enjoy!

IT’S TIPSY TUESDAY! 🍸Seeing that yesterday marked 400+ followers for TGH (woo-hoo!) and today is the first day of summer - it seemed fitting to share a “summery” champagne cocktail. Time to celebrate with a CUCUMBER MINT SPARKLER! 🥒🍾🪩According to , from the blog “Domesticate Me, “ this cocktail is “light, bright & slightly sweet.”
It is a combination of muddled cucumber, mixed with homemade mint simple syrup, Vodka, lime juice and topped with Prosecco (or “champs” if you are feeling fancy pants)! Sidenote: I am enjoying tequila more than vodka these days, so I’m going to give tequila a whirl with this recipe. Here’s to all of you who have been following along and spreading the love and to a fun + festive summer!! CHEERS! 🥂

INGREDIENTS
* 1- inch piece of seedless cucumber finely chopped
* ½ ounce fresh lime juice that’s the juice from about half a lime
* 1½ ounces vodka
* 2 teaspoons mint simple syrup recipe below
* 3 ounces Prosecco or champagne
For the Mint Simple Syrup:
* ½ cup granulated sugar
* ½ cup water
* ½ cup fresh mint leaves
For Garnish:
* 3-4 slices cucumber
* 1 sprig fresh mint

INSTRUCTIONS
* First, you’ll need to make the simple syrup. In a small saucepan, bring the sugar, water and mint leaves to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer, swirling the saucepan occasionally, until the sugar dissolves, 1-2 minutes. Remove from the heat and cool completely before using.
* In a cocktail shaker, muddle the chopped cucumber with the lime juice. Add the vodka, simple syrup and a few ice cubes, and shake vigorously until the outside of the shaker becomes frosty. Strain into a glass filled with ice (I like crushed ice for this), and top with Prosecco. Garnish with the cucumber slice and mint sprig. ENJOY!! 🪩👙🕶

It’s TIPSY TUESDAY🍸!! In honor of the Kentucky Derby that took place this past weekend, this week’s cocktail is the classic and official drink of the Derby - the MINT JULEP. I love a julep cup (you can still make one without this signature vessel) and the refreshing sip of mint, with a bit of bourbon, a touch of sweetness and all that crushed ice! Fancy hat not required (but definitely fun to wear while enjoying)! Cheers!! 👒🐎

INGREDIENTS
* 2 1/2 ounces bourbon
* 3/4 ounce simple syrup
* 4–5 mint leaves plus more for garnish
* crushed ice

INSTRUCTIONS
* Add mint leaves and simple syrup to a mint julep cup or double old fashioned glass. Muddle mint leaves to release the oils. Simple sugar should start to have a greenish hue.
* Add bourbon and stir.
* Fill glass with roughly 1 cup of crushed ice and stir until mixed. Top with a mound of additional crushed ice and serve with a mint leaf garnish.
