Tuque's Bar and Grill Tuques Bar and Grill offers casual fresh food located next to Powder Monkey Lift and across the street from Western Territory. All of a sudden it came to them.

Owners Kristin and David Billings spent hours mulling over possible names for the bar. Over dinner one night they discussed the location of the place. The idea that it was on "top" of the Appalachia Kitchen restaurant. The idea that guests would hopefully "cap" off their day of skiing with food and drink from the bar and grill. Tuque's was perfect! In honor of David's french-Canadian heritage, a tuque is a Quebec word meaning a stocking cap or a winter hat, sometimes with a pom-pom on top.
