After 21+ years, Hickory Falls Wood-Fired Grille and Bar has officially closed its doors.

We want to sincerely thank the entire Smyrna community for your unwavering support over the years. We are also deeply grateful to our incredible staff for an amazing run—especially during these past weeks since we announced our closing.

The outpouring of love and support we’ve received has been truly humbling. It is a testament to years of hard work, doing the right thing, taking care of our guests, and treating everyone like family. Thank you for being part of our story.

Friday - After 21+ incredible years serving this community, today is our final day.

From the bottom of our hearts thank you, our wonderful guests—many since day one, so many more this past year. We thank God for every one of you and for our incredible staff—without your support, none of this would have happened.

We will close today no later than 8 PM. We do anticipate long wait times for tables (possible 1-2+ hours). We’ll stop taking names likely 5–6 PM, this could shift earlier/later based on what’s left on the menu. As a scratch kitchen we apologize to you if we run out of your favorites.

Tuesday - The soup today is Chicken and Rice. NHL action tonight - the Predators vs the Hurricanes at 7:00 on TV in the bar.

We've been absolutely overwhelmed (in the best way!) by all the messages asking for our recipes—especially that carrot cake everyone can't stop talking about. It truly means the world to us that you've loved them enough to ask.
Many of these recipes have been with us for decades—some honed over years of owning and running restaurants across the country, others cherished family favorites passed down through generations. They're a big part of what makes Hickory Falls special, and right now, we've decided to keep them as our little secrets for the time being.
Who knows what the future holds? We might share them one day, but for now, the very best way to enjoy them is right here with us. Come grab a slice of carrot cake and taste the love that's been years in the making.
