Well this is going to be a tough one for me, but here goes. Today marks the 12 year Anniversary of the birth of Sal’s Ristorante, it also marks the last day of my family and I as the owners. This morning I sold the restaurant to a wonderful family who intends to continue operating as Sal’s Ristorante and maintain the staff and menu as you have been accustomed to over the last 12 years. It’s a bittersweet day for us as you can image. We want to make sure a smooth transition happens with the new owners, so we will be involved for the next 30 days, so make sure you stop in and say hi. If you have an event or reservation booked, have no fear, it will go smoothly. All our customers are like family to us, so as part of the sale, I have prepaid the new owner for all gifts cards sold from December 2021 to present (it’s as far back as I had a record of) so you can still redeem them. I will try to post the gift card numbers tomorrow. We have so many memories and friendships because of our Beautiful restaurant and we hope you do as well. We hope we have brought some great meals and smiles to each and every one of you over the years. Feel free to post a photo, memory or meal you had at Sal’s over the years. I will miss you all and hope to see you around town in the future. It’s not goodbye, rather see you soon. Happy eating and remember the Sal’s motto, Chi Mangia Bene, Vive Bene. Mangiamo!
