was high on our list of stops to make this year for . Last year, their ‘El Diablo’ secret sauce which is topped with flaming hot Cheetos, rocked our tastebuds and we craved more.

Unfortunately this visit seemed to have fallen a little short based on our previous 4.5-star experiences. Although our selection was not as tasty this time around, we are convinced this was a fluke because of the consistency in taste and presentation we experienced in past years. Our visit this time included four wing flavors: El Diablo, Buffacue, Honey BBQ & Medium buffalo.

We saved the El Diablo for last out of fear that we’d have no tastebuds left for the other three flavors but we were left with no sting at all, the heat fell far shorter than our past several experiences and was mold at best.

The remaining three flavors were almost indistinguishable from each other. We were struggling to taste the variance between the flavors but honestly struggled to do so which was unfortunate. Regardless, the wings were meaty, the flavor was finger licking good and we left with full bellies - we will be back for a rematch sometime soon.

Quick lunch stop at Laura's Bar and Grill today for RI FOOD FIGHTS stop 2 of the month. I’m a frequent flyer at Laura’s, I get two things and two things only. Buffalo chicken with no nasty red onions and wings. Keep it simple.

We picked up a few flavors as we always do to help and today we went with Medium Buffalo, Mango Habanero, Kickin’ Bourbon and stay Golden Boy.

Laura’s keeps their wings meaty, and each order comes with 10 wings so you get a lot of bang for your buck. Their sauces range from the status quo to slightly out of the box but you can guarantee they have something for every palette. If you haven’t been to Laura’s be sure to add them to your list, if you’re looking for one or two flavors to wrap your lips around, go Golden Boy or Kickin Bourbon.

New to the wing coupon book, Kourys is a solid 6 outta 10, offering your standard fare when it comes to wings. Average size,meatiness, and flavor. The sauces available are: Buffalo, BBQ, Sweet Chili, Garlic Parm & Golden Fever. The garlic parm was a stand out in profile for us, which says something because we’re usually not a fan.

Stopped by in Morrison, CO. Way off the beaten path for a couple Rhode Islanders but damn well worth it!

The waitress recommended the flavor, Hot BBQ, and it was a perfect blend of sweet and heat. A great amount of sauce coverage and a healthy amount of celery & carrots on the side for the snackers. A must try for sure!

Stopped by for lunch last Thursday and grabbed a couple orders of wings. They do have some special flavors for the contest so be sure to ask your server about those. I went with a dryrub (I will update the flavor name later I forgot to write it down) and the Sriracha Maple Brown Sugar.

- fair warning, ask for extra wetnaps 🤣 The location is a so I dropped a lure and was throwing curvevalls with my pinky finger and destroying wings with my other 9 fingers. My phone was covered in syrup but it was totally worth it. Now, I didnt taste any Sriracha and as I look at the menus on their website (screenshots shown) it appears they are 2 separate flavors. On one menu it’s one sauce and the other it’s 2 seprate sauces, which would explain the lack of heat. That being said, if it is just a menu error, the Beav should absolutely add a Sriracha & Maple Brown Sugar sauce because sweet and heat is where it’s at. If they were Srirach, add wayyyyyy more sriracha.

- Damn delicious. My biggest complaint is that you couldn’t get enough of the rub to stick to your wings. I was aggressively pressing my wings into the dry rub that had fallen off the skin to add more because it was beyond delicious. Chunky ingredients, vibrant flavors, fresh tasting and perfectly cooked wings - what more could you ask for? This rub needs to be upgraded to the everyday roster ASAP.

We were informed the 3 flavors you can pick for are , & All in all, we ordered Mango Hananero, Teriyaki, Buffalo, BBQ and Garlic Parm wings with a side of fries.

- very smooth, sweet buttery flavored buffalo. Nothing groundbreaking from a heat or flavor perspective but consistent and delicious.

- literally can’t get fresher than this. They mashed up the mangos that cover the wings, basically seemed like your wing was covered in applesauce. The habanero was pretty soft, would recommend they add more to the blend but A+ on freshness and flavor

- pretty standard bbq flavor, didn’t taste bottled but I wasn’t blown away. I believe they mentioned they make all their sauces from scratch, this one could use a little more sugar or brown sugar to pop the flavor up a notch

- good lord these were delicious. Hand-cut, golden french fries with a sweet BBQ dry-rub seasoning, cheddar cheese, and bacon; drizzled with homemade BBQ sauce. Get these!

Overall, definitely recommend the buffalo and mango habanero with a side of BBQ loaded fries. Glad we were able to stop by this year, it was my first time in the place and will be back for other food! Be kind and ❤️

NEW FLAVOR ANNOUNCEMENT!! We dropped into last night looking for something spicy and let’s just say, mission accomplished. Story time below, it’s worth the read! 👇🏻

We ordered the Hot Buffalo wings among 3 other flavors (full review coming soon) and honestly, they were not hot. We felt the ‘Hot’ should have been the mild and when we were asked for feedback that’s what we told the staff, after all, honesty is the best policy and the feedback was well received.

One of the Managers, I believe, said, “Well, if you think that wasn’t hot, we have something a few notches hotter, not even on the menu. Want to give it a shot?” - we hesitantly accepted. The IFL Wing squad does not chase ghost pepper/reaper flavors. Dying while eating an untastely flavored wing is not enjoyable for us, so our fear was that’s what we were walking into. The Manager said the only other time they made this sauce, it left the guy in tears, but, YOLO. is only once per year, so, why tf not?

Wings get dropped off, exactly as described above with a slight twist - some flamin’ hot cheetos also crumbled on top. Lip smackin, finger lickin, perfection was on our plates. These wings had the perfect amount of heat with an amazing flavor profile that didn’t make you run for a gallon of milk. They focus the sauce around Cayenne pepper and perfectly balanced the heat and flavor profile.

Ok, you read all that and you’re thinking, “ok? And?” Well, by just having this open convo about flavors with the team at the , before we even left the restaurant, they said, “We’re going to add this sauce to the lineup, we’re going to call it ‘El Diablo’. “ How badass is that? We literally witnessed history in motion and worked with a clealry amazing staff on listening to the people. El Diablo will NOT be making an appearance on the menu so we need all you to head down to The Chicken Coop, tell them IFL Wings sent you and order the El Diablo sauce - you will not be disappointed!
