DR Distillery At DR Distillery, we proudly hand craft & distill whiskies using techniques handed down over the generations. Folks loved it then and we believe folks will now.

Western PA was once the capital of whiskey & spirits production in the US & we are proud to play a role in bringing that recognition back. At DR Distillery, we proudly hand craft & distill whiskies & rum using techniques handed down over the generations. Local grains, spring water, copper stills, a “backwood’s” heritage, and proud craftsmanship come together in our smooth White Gold Shine, white flavored whiskies, and rum. Western Pa was once the capital of whiskey & spirits production in the US and we are proud to play a role in bringing that recognition back to the area. The “old timers” who taught us whiskey making & self-reliance did it themselves and made quality whiskey they were proud of. There are easier ways to make whiskey, just not DR Distillery hand crafted whiskey. Our White Gold Whiskey (Shine) is made from locally grown & ground corn & rye. Enjoy it on the rocks, neat or in your favorite mixed drink. Our Sweet Trade Rum is a traditional white rum made from 100% pure molasses. It is a full flavor rum reminiscent of Colonial era Rum. Come see us at our farm distillery outside Slippery Rock, PA. We know you’ll be glad you did!
