Many of you may not know that I started a non-profit called The Neighborhood Book Peddler 📚❤️

What began as a deep love for storytelling, community, and access to books has slowly grown into monthly free book giveaways in New Orleans. Our mission is simple: to get more books into more hands and create spaces where people can gather, connect, learn, and share stories together.

Our next Free Book Giveaway will be held at the Bywater Art Garden on May 31st from 10am–2pm. We’ll have hundreds of free books across all genres, plus free coffee and cookies for the community 🫶🏽

Bring your friends, bring the family, and take home as many books as you’d like. Every reader is welcome.

I cannot believe it’s finally here. My new album “Rhythm of My Roots” is out everywhere now! Listen now through the link in my bio!

This album is really a reflection on where I come from and who I’ve become. Recording and working in Nashville really inspired me about being from Louisiana. Leaving home makes you realize all of the things that make it so special. It’s funny how being in a different city can make you miss the sound of a New Orleans beat or a Cajun two-step. I wanted to take all those things that make Louisiana unique and mix them with the storytelling I’ve been doing lately.

Working with Kent Wells was such a gift he helped me stay true to my roots while helping me explore new sounds. It’s been six years since my last full album, and I really took my time with these ten songs because I wanted them to feel like home.

Nashville friends, get ready to celebrate “Rhythm of My Roots” Louisiana style this Tuesday, May 19th. RSVP through the link in my bio!
