Red Onion Saloon The historic Red Onion Saloon & Brothel Museum, located on 2nd street in downtown Skagway, Alaska.

A visit to Skagway would not be complete without a stop at the historic Red Onion Saloon. Located on the corner of 2nd & Broadway, the Red Onion is a favorite among visitors and locals alike. Built in 1897, it was operated as one of the finest bordellos in Skagway and though times have changed, the spirit has not.

The Red Onion Saloon is open at 9:30 am on ship days, and our kitchen closes at 8 pm.

This year’s show raised $7,000 for medical bill relief for two of our beloved community members: Kelvin Bristol & Dustin Stone! ♥️

We are proud and grateful to you, the community of Skagway, and our incredible performers who donated their time and talent for the sake of charity.

In addition to this year’s incredible local fundraising efforts, 50% of Bar Sales from this year’s show were donated to The Trevor Project, supporting national efforts to support the LGBTQIA Community.
