Hope all y’all had a joyous holiday!

I would like to post an upcoming event in Simpsonville. Tickets are available online.

Meet the Krüger Brothers, German immigrants who grew up in Switzerland and followed the sound of the music they loved all the way to North Carolina.

As children, they were inspired by recordings of Doc Watson, Flatt and Scruggs, and Bill Monroe. Jens and Uwe Krüger started playing the guitar and banjo, and Jens came to America in the early 1980‘s to play with the patron saint of bluegrass, Bill Monroe.

In 1995, they connected with Joel Landsberg, an American citizen from New York, NY to form the Krüger Brothers Trio.

In 1997, the Krüger Brothers made their American debut at MerleFest in Wilkesboro, a festival named after Doc Watson‘s son. They felt at home in the mountains of NC. Jens and Uwe Krüger moved from Switzerland to Wilkesboro, NC in 2003.

Don‘t miss this special performance of the unique sound that has made them a fixture in the world of acoustic music. They are known for their innovative fusion of bluegrass, folk, and classical music and are one of the Carolina‘s most popular roots music groups! Get your tickets today!

Notice:
Unterhausen will be closed July 3 through July 6 so the entire staff can celebrate Independence Day with their families and have some well deserved time off.
Likewise, we wish for you a happy, restful and joyous time to celebrate and enjoy our freedoms.
With affection and gratitude,
The Baron of Unterhausen
And Johannes, Chief of the Royal Knights

ATTENTION!
On Wednesday, the 23rd day of August, Unterhausen will not be serving its usual fare. Regrettably, the Chef is unable to be present and to perform her usual culinary magic. We wish for her a speedy recovery.
However, for those villagers wishing to visit for a little cheer and friendly conversation, the Schloß door will be open.

Wendall und Ich und der Baron werden auf unseren üblichen Posten sein!

Bis später,
Johannes
