We have a '26 High School Graduate in our Nickel Family.
Ethan has worked in the kitchen for the better part of his high school career. Its been neat that our schedule could fit his academics. We've appreciated his can do attitude, his level head and his nose to the grindstone work ethic.
Lets be honest, growing up is hard. Balancing school and work is a challenge. Family, friends, future. Its a balance. At somepoint, Ethan made the choice to be successful. He may not have always been headed that way. But he made a path for himself, and he stuck to it. He was awarded one of the most improved students. Receiving a scholarship, graduating with straight A's and with a beeline to college in the fall.
We are PROUD of him. Like puffy faced ugly crying proud. We love you, E!
