A while back, I picked up a slightly used Staccato XC in a trade. Someone had swapped out the grip and trigger, and its history was not entirely known. Being very much myself, I called my buddy Keith over at Grayguns because I knew they had some 2011 projects in the works.
They fitted it with a new hammer, disconnector, sear spring, and mainspring, using EGW tool-steel parts. The hammer and sear were hand-fitted to produce a cleaner, more consistent trigger break. Now she’s nice and smooth...
