Oh, hey 2026.
We heard the year of the Fire Horse is upon us and all we can say is... hell yeah it is.
According to the Chinese Zodiac, we are about to feel the full force of the universe ushering us forward with intensity and passion. Demanding change and demanding it fast - telling us we can no longer stand still, but pushing us forward with not so gentle hands.
We all know she can be a little rough.
Even though we are still a few weeks away from the official start of this formidable year, we can already feel that energy - have been feeling it for a while now. We took some time to be with our friends and family, to travel, to meet new people, to think new thoughts and maybe even dream new dreams. We got outside of our world, outside of our mind and we've come to a decision. A big one.
We've decided not to re-open TELL MAMA. Not now, and not in Sierra Vista.
We've decided to give our big dreams a new birth.
We've decided that it is time for us to head home.
As some of you may know, we are a business created by immigrants. People who, regardless of how far away from one and other we were born, all found themselves here - looking for opportunity, for community, for a home.
It has been a privilege, as an immigrant, to live in the US. It has been a privilege to build a business, to watch it grow with hope. To find loved ones who share in that dream with you. But we've had to come to terms with the fact that a lot has changed since we first opened our doors. And as much of a privilege it has been to be here, it is also a privilege to have another home you can return to.
We have decided to make everything we have already created available for someone else to build upon. We want someone else to thrive in our wake and we will do everything we can for the right person, with the right vision, drive, talent and experience.
