On Friday, September 11th, Fufu Friday returns to Niema's West African & Caribbean Cuisine with three stews, each telling a different story of West African flavor.

🥜 PEANUT MAAFE
Slow simmered, deeply spiced and beautifully rich. The dish that carried me into Bobby Flay’s kitchen and brought home the win.

🌿 EGUSI STEW
Ground melon seed, greens and aromatics come together in a deeply savory West African classic.

💚 OKRA STEW
Slow cooked okra layered with aromatics and spice, soulful, comforting and rooted in tradition.

Each is served with warm fufu, made for gathering, sharing and eating with your hands.

For me, this is more than a plate of food.

It is Sierra Leone. It is memory. It is home. 🇸🇱
