Today I woke up extra early to put in two more applications for holiday shows. These shows are only about 1/2 mile from my home and indoors. Here is the next segment of the angel doll in the works. The wings. The background is cut out of poster board. Of course, couldn't find the original pattern, so I made a new one. In the meantime, draw and cut out the leaves for the wings. Remember, I make those wings out of espresso sleeves. Each one is cut out by hand. Then I place them on the poster board to arrange the pattern. After printing out a picture of the angel, it made it much easier to organize the leaves. Will keep you posted with the next step in this project. Would love to see any project you are into. Enjoy

Today I started working on some Christmas items for my booth in December. My new project will be my large and small Christmas angels. I made them about 5 years ago and really liked them. Here is the first day of progress! Naked doll heads, natural items for hair. Lace for dresses and then paper coffee warmers from my espresso guy in Idaho, for the wings. Keep watching for the next stage.

Well it has been almost two years since we moved to Mt Vernon, Wa. We are delighted to be living by some of kids and family. My husband Ray's dementia has improved since we relocated. I think we are settled having moved twice in the last 18 months. Now I have a proper art studio that I am using nonstop lately. My Etsy button and magnet business is thriving. Would love to hear from you all. Next weekend, I'll be at a booth with my Etsy items. Here is a picture of one of my new magnet sets. I love these. They are about two inches wide. Thanks Karen
