Textiles, tradition, and community coming together TONIGHT! 🧵

Join Arts & Humanities Trapper Creek’s featured artist, Carol Ziogas, for a special Meet ’N Greet at Shell Bar this evening from 5–6 PM.

Carol has spent a lifetime sewing and studying Japanese textiles and sashiko, a traditional style of decorative reinforcement stitching rooted in craftsmanship and repair. Her passion, experience, and artistry have made her work truly one of a kind.

Want to learn more? Spend the weekend learning directly from Carol during her hands-on workshop at Shell Community Hall on May 16–17 from 10–4 daily. Participants will create a layered, sashiko-stitched placemat project using curated fabric scraps and traditional thread techniques.
