Good morning, Junkyard Nation! Kayce here with some exciting news, and since school starts in our area today, I figured it was the perfect time to let you all in on it!
First of all, I want to give a HUGE shoutout and thank you to everyone who joined us for our Teacher Fundraiser at the beginning of August, as well as every single person and business in our area who donated something and helped make it all possible.
We are SO EXCITED to announce that WE HIT OUR GOAL OF $10,000!!! 🎉
We were able to give both School District of Webster and School District of Siren teachers $5,000 each so they can get the things they need for their classrooms without having to take money out of their own pockets.
On top of that, we received enough donations from the wishlist that every teacher who put an item on their list received an item! 🙌
AND, we were able to donate an additional $570 to the Siren High School football team so they can get some of the necessary items they need to play and be successful this season. 💚
YOU GUYS ARE ALL SO AWESOME!!! ❤️
I truly don’t take this community’s support for granted. I am SO thankful to live where we do and to be surrounded by people who are always willing to come together and help each other out. Being able to pull something like this off really proves that it takes a village!
