As we head into June, we’re kicking off a season of discovery, connection, and great drinks at Wine Collective & PRESS Coffee Lounge. Whether you’re joining us for weekly wine experiences, educational classes, coffee workshops, live music, curated tastings, or simply a relaxing afternoon with friends, there’s something on the calendar for you.

This month brings Rosé Week, Building Your Wine Cellar, Coffee Skills Series, Bottle & Board, Off the Beaten Glass, Tapas & Tastings, Bougie Pour Fridays, and much more.

Thank you, Uptown Shelby!

What an incredible day. A heartfelt thank you to all of the participants, businesses, artists, musicians, volunteers, and wine pourers who made the Uptown Shelby Wine Walk such a memorable experience.

We’ve heard from so many of you about how much you enjoyed exploring Uptown, discovering new wines, visiting local businesses, and connecting with friends old and new. Our hope was that everyone left having discovered something new, whether it was a favorite wine, a local business, an artist, or a new friendship.

A special thank you to the amazing teams at Dragonfly Wine Market, Stem Wine & Desserts, and Wine Collective & PRESS Coffee Lounge. This event was a true collaboration between local businesses working together to support the success of Uptown Shelby and strengthen our community.

We’re excited to introduce our wine community to Native Vines Winery, the first American Indian owned winery in the United States and a true North Carolina gem.

Today we had the opportunity to meet with Victoria Lewis, manager and daughter of winemaker Darlene Gabbard, and learn more about the story, passion, and heritage behind these wines. From award-winning wines to their unique green tea wines, Native Vines brings a beautiful sense of place and history to every bottle.

We’re proud to continue our partnership with Mary Montalvo, owner of Decant Wine as consulting sommelier and advisor for our wine program. With more than 15 years in the wine industry and a Court of Master, Advanced Sommelier, Mary continues to curate our Wine Club selections while serving as an expert resource for our certified wine team.
