Our Closer to Craft series continues tomorrow at 3pm with a Kölsch-style split. Stop in for two, side-by-side short pours and experience two different interpretations of the style.

What’s a Kölsch? It’s a light-bodied beer brewed in Cologne (Köln) Germany. It’s unique because it combines warm fermentation typical for ales with cold conditioning, typical with lagers. This process is similar to the Altbier from Düsseldorf.

Jake, our resident Level 2 Certified Cicerone®️, will also be there to answer your questions, share his beer knowledge, and help create a true craft experience.

Tributary Beer Garden is open on Labor Day! Come enjoy this extra weekend day on the banks of the Sheboygan River with a beverage in hand. We’re still waiting to hear, but it sounds like some food trucks may be joining us, as well.

Less than one week until Oktoberfest at Tributary on Saturday, September 12! With Steins, Polka, games, and Oktoberfest lagers from around the world — including some stunners from Germany — we’re getting ready for the perfect riverside celebration. Prost!

🎉 Kids activities: 11am-1pm and throughout the day

🍴 Food: starting at 2pm

🍺 Steinhoisting: 3pm, hosted by Samuel Adams, with men’s and women’s heats

🔨 Hammarschlage: 3pm-9pm (run by volunteers from Étude Schools, with all proceeds going to the schools)

The sun is out, the taps are open, we’ve got Rushane from Jamaica Mi Krazy serving his incredible Jamaican menu (Rasta Pasta, jerk chicken, and more) starting at 3pm, and we just put on Le Petit Prince from Jester King Brewery.

This 2.9% Grisette is rustic and refreshing, with herbal hops, soft grain, pepper, yeast, and crisp, dry finish. Perfect for sunshine in The Garden. (John’s expression is really leaning into the “grrrr” part of Grisette apparently).

When you’re ready for a second round, Unsupervised at Target — a strawberry, passion fruit, orange, guava sour from Young Blood Beer Company — is the ideal choice.
