With a Heavy Heart…

It’s with deep sadness that we announce the closing of the Sons of Italy. Due to a lack of steady business and not enough folks coming through the doors, we simply can’t keep things going.

This Tuesday, we invite everyone to come out and help us enjoy what’s left—drink specials, good memories, and the kind of laughs that made this place feel like home. Thursday will be our final day open.

We want to give a huge thank you to Gil, Caitlin, and Maggie — some of the best people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working alongside. Your dedication, energy, and friendship made every shift worth it.

And to our board members — Giamarie, Hannah, Luke, and Jake — thank you for your support, effort, and care throughout it all.

Let’s send this place off the right way. We’d love to see your faces one last time.

What a wonderful night! Our soup contest was such a success, and I couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who participated. We had an incredible variety of soups, each one more delicious than the last!

A huge congratulations to our golden ladle winner—my amazing baby sister! Her loaded baked potato soup stole the show and warmed everyone’s hearts. Not only did she take home the top prize, but in true holiday spirit, she graciously donated her winnings to our kids' Christmas party. What a gem she is!

Let’s also celebrate our second-place winner, Sharmar, whose hot cabbage soup earned him the golden spoon! Such a unique and flavorful dish—it definitely left an impression on everyone!

Thank you to everyone who came out and made this event so special. Nights like these remind us of the power of good food, great company, and even greater generosity.
