💀📖 A little spooky magic has taken over the mantle… 📖💀

For this Halloween install, I went with a skeleton + haunted book theme—and the books have definitely come to life! 👻

Pages mysteriously escape from the bottom of the fireplace, swirling their way upward and across the mantle until they reach all the way above the TV. Skeletons creep and climb up both sides, while eerie portraits, flickering candles and glowing purple lights give the entire space that perfectly spooky glow. 💜🕯️

It’s creepy. It’s whimsical. It’s dramatic. And it might just be one of my favorite Halloween mantles yet!

A close-up look at our spooky little niche—and one of my favorite details has to be the DIY mercury glass potion bottles! This is such a fun project to do with your older kids: hit the thrift store, hunt for unique glass bottles and jars, and turn them into perfectly aged, witchy mercury glass. 🖤 I’ll show you exactly how we did it in another video!

And can we talk about the floating candles?! 🕯️ They make EVERYTHING more magical—and these are from Amazon!

Creating an elevated, spooky-fun Halloween nook with a little creativity and a lot of DIY magic! 🧙‍♀️✨

I mixed Halloween finds from Walmart with foraged sticks from around my property and a tension rod from Amazon to completely transform this niche. We even DIY’d all of the silver mercury glass bottles for our witches’ potions—and I LOVE how they turned out!

Proof that Halloween can be spooky, whimsical AND beautiful. 🕷️🖤
