A little update from Balandra!

As we continue to grow and evolve, we'll be shifting away from weekday lunch service and focusing our daytime offerings on weekend brunch.

Join us Saturdays & Sundays starting at 10:00 AM for an expanded brunch menu featuring some incredible new dishes, fresh flavors, and a few surprises we've been excited to share.

And this is just the beginning, our team is hard at work developing new menu items, special events, and weekly features that we can't wait to bring to the table.

Our first Chef’s Dinner is officially in the books, and what a night it was.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate Chef Ivan’s birthday and experience a menu inspired by the flavors, memories, and traditions of his hometown. We were honored to share such a special evening with all of you, and we're thrilled to say the event sold out!

The energy in the room, the conversations, the wine, and the incredible support from our guests made it a night we'll never forget.

When Anna and I first started dreaming about opening Balandra, we wanted to create a space that felt like an extension of our home, warm, welcoming, and centered around great food, great wine, and genuine hospitality.

From the beginning, our goal has been simple: serve the highest quality ingredients we can find at a reasonable price, while building a truly family-owned and operated restaurant where every guest feels taken care of.

We’ve only been open for two months, and the support from Fremont and the surrounding neighborhoods has meant everything to us.

What many people don’t see is all the work that happens behind the scenes when the doors are closed. Anna is constantly working to make Balandra better. From spending months curating our wine program, to managing our social media, to supporting every new idea I bring into the kitchen, she’s involved in every part of what we do.

Balandra would not exist without her.

So next time you see her on the floor, please don’t hesitate to say hi.

In celebration of Chef Ivan’s birthday, this menu is a personal expression of the flavors, memories, and dishes that inspire his cooking.
