We're looking for an experienced bartender with great customer service skills! Our restaurant and bar is open 12pm-12am every day in the Capitol Hill area, and we are looking for someone to work 4 day shifts per week 2pm-12am Thursday-Sunday

Our focus is simple and delicious food & drink and our beer, wine & cocktail menu has been created with our Russian theme in mind as well as seasonal ingredients, flavors and the creativity of our staff.

*Must be available on weekends*

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Greets and serves customers in a professional and timely manner.

2. Prepares alcoholic, non-alcoholic and other beverages for customers and servers in accordance with standard recipes. 3. Responds to tablet orders, prepares to go condiments and packs to go bags with food, utensils and beverages.

4. Prepares all condiments to garnish drink orders.

5. Takes food orders and enters them into the POS, expedites food to tables.

6. Applies knowledge of the full menu, beverages and other restaurant information such as restaurant hours and types of payment.

7. Maintains a clean bar at all times wiping bar regularly, disposing of debris and bottles and washing glasses behind the bar as needed.

8. Checks and maintains stock of glassware, beverages and bar supplies and communicates shortages to appropriate person.

9. Answers the telephone and takes messages to give to the proper personnel.

10. Records currency transactions accurately on POS and tenders proper change.

11. Processes charge transaction through charge transmittal machine and prints, reviews and submits a daily charge report to the Manager.

12. Completes all assigned opening and closing duties to prepare bar for efficient operation.

13. Communicates health and/or safety concerns/violations immediately to management.

Physical Demands:
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell.
