Now's your chance to dive deep into one of West Coast Swing's most distinctive rhythmic timing signature with a specialized four-week series designed to help you become comfortable, confident, and well-practiced with our magnetic instructor, Anna!

On Friday, July 31st, we're transforming both the Grand Ballroom and Emerald Ballroom into one giant wedding reception... and you're on the guest list.

Be the bride. Be the groom. Be the broom! Be the matron of honor. Be the eccentric aunt. Be the guest who never leaves the dance floor. Creativity is encouraged, but semi-formal or formal summer wedding attire is required.

As Reverie expands into weddings and private events, we're creating the wedding album of our dreams - with the dancers, friends, and community members who make this place come alive every week. Throughout the evening, our photographer will be capturing the joy, elegance, and energy of the Ballroom in celebration.

There is always more to discover in Tango. Join Blair and Greg on Thursdays as they guide dancers deeper into the art of intimate connection, historic musicality and technical improvisation.

**Tango 2**
Thursdays • 7–8pm

Ready to move beyond the basics? Tango 2 focuses on the Giro (turn), one of the most versatile and essential elements of Argentine Tango. Explore circular movement, changes of direction, sacadas, barridas, and the techniques that help dancers feel fluid, confident, and expressive on the social dance floor.

**Tango 3**
Thursdays • 8–9pm

For dancers ready to expand their vocabulary, Tango 3 explores advanced musicality, refined technique, and dynamic movements including boleos, ganchos, close embrace concepts, and creative combinations. Each series is designed to help dancers develop a more personal tango voice while deepening connection and precision.

If you’ve arrived for Salsa Saturday or Monday Salsa Práctica, there’s a good chance Orion Zick (they/them) was one of the first people to greet you at the door.

Orion believes dance floors are at their best when people feel comfortable showing up as their authentic selves. For them, social dance is more than movement - it's a place where music, community, and personal expression come together to create meaningful connections and memorable moments.

As a member of Reverie’s door team, Orion helps set the tone for the evening from the very first hello. Whether they’re checking you in, answering questions, or helping you find your way around the ballroom, they work to ensure every guest feels welcomed, seen, and supported.

Today, we honor Black freedom, resilience, and joy - and the Black communities whose creativity, artistry, and cultural stewardship have shaped so many of the dances we share.

From Blues, Jazz, and Lindy Hop to Kizomba, Salsa, Bachata, and many other social dance traditions, our dance communities have been profoundly shaped by the creativity, artistry, and cultural stewardship of Black people throughout the African diaspora.

As we celebrate Juneteenth, we honor their legacy and recommit ourselves to learning from, uplifting, and respecting the roots of the dances we love.
