CLOCK-OUT LOUNGE IS HIRING A BARTENDER

We’re looking for an experienced bartender to join our crew at Clock-Out Lounge on Beacon Hill.

This position is about 3 shifts per week with the ability to pick up more shifts as needed. The pay is $21.30/hour + tips.

Clock-Out Lounge is a neighborhood bar and live music venue on Beacon Hill. We open daily at 4 pm and host a wide variety of live music and events. We pride ourselves on being a welcoming, inclusive space for our staff, artists, and customers.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous bartending experience
• Comfortable with high-volume service
• Friendly, dependable, and works well as part of a team
• Able to stay organized and keep your cool when the bar gets slammed
• Strong customer service skills
• Availability for nights and weekends
• An appreciation for live music and the wonderfully weird mix of people who come through our doors is definitely a plus

We’re looking for someone who wants to be part of the Clock-Out crew and enjoys working in a lively neighborhood bar where no two nights are exactly the same.

Cynthia Brothers has been doing these Vanishing Seattle variety shows that are basically a mix of local comedy, music, drag, storytelling, Seattle history, and whatever other weird s**t fits the night.

The next one is September 15 at Clock-Out Lounge with MC Type and Tati, plus Cliff Barnes, who’s been doing stand-up in Seattle forever and apparently did his first set at a biker bar on Aurora, which feels extremely on brand for this whole conversation.

We talk a lot in this episode about old Seattle and the places that disappeared, but this is the other side of it. There are still people making cool stuff here right now.
