Celebrating 54 years

“Don” Ramon and Hortencia Pelaez opened the doors of the Copacabana in the Pike Place Market in June of 1964. Named for “Our Lady of Copacabana “ shrine in La Paz, Bolivia, the restaurant stood as a symbol of hope and courage for the entire Pelaez family. The restaurant still remains family owned and operated, continuing the original informal and friendly atmosphere.
