This Thursday, September 10th, like we do every second Tuesday of each month, we trivia with trivia snob, Rich Burton. This is not run-of-the-mill, boring old pub quiz with just predictable questions and answers but real trivia with audio, video rounds, deck building, game-ified interactive components.

To the unfamiliar, this looks like bunch of meat (well, it actually is). To the familiar, this is a very special beef dish, dressed up in butter, yogurt, tomato, grilled peppers and some pita.

We did it (our Turkish Chef is a happy man right now). We finally mastered the döner kebab - the famed Turkish dish best known for street food applications.

Going on its rightful place on the Fall menu, starting September 15th. Seattle area Turks, assemble. Rest of you, you should try it out. “You will want to have 10,000 if its babies,” as great philosopher, Jane Burnham says in the Sam Mendes’ 1999 classic movie, American Beauty.

On September 8th, and every second Tuesday of each month, we honor original works of literature with an open mic night. Come read your masterpiece or masterpiece-in-the-works, or just listen or network with local creatives like yourself. Come hear a comedy routine, an essay, a short story or a poem.
