Dear Footprint Friends,

Footprint Wine Tap Bar Restaurant has recently decided to forego our lease renewal at our Madison St Capitol Hill brick-and-mortar.

Our decision comes with sadness and sweetness, reflecting on the unprecedented challenges and growth opportunities, and celebrating the amazing people like you we have met and served, partnered with, awesome key staff members, super fun events, and accomplishments we’ve made together. It’s been 10 years since we started the real grassroots work to open the door for our business 8 years ago and there is much to celebrate.

We’ve created an amazing and wonderful Footprint community over the years. Our first brick-and-mortar gave us a place and space to expand and nourish roots, cherish old friends, and meet new friends. We began curating local keg-wine producers to fulfill our reducing carbon footprint goals and reached another major milestone in the middle of it all when we began crafting our own low-intervention wines to share with you.

And we look forward to continuing to share our wine with you at different venues around the area for the foreseeable future.

Now, we would be honored to host you for one final event where it all began, at our lovely little bar, and toast to pouring into the future.

You are invited to Footprint’s 8th Anniversary Celebration & Farewell Parties. We’ll host a final day of public operation and service on Friday Sept 25, and a Private ticketed “Beyond the Bar, A Toast to Tomorrow” Event on Saturday Sept 26. We’ll also be releasing our NEW ‘22 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon!

We're still reeling and feeling the love from our earlier events this year. From the Urban Connoisseurs Back To Our Roots Men Wine and Spirits Dinner, the CWU Panel Discussion & Gallery One Winemaker's Dinner and Wine Tasting, to the Vinos Pingüinos Q***r Wine Fest Pre-Pride Kick-Off Wine Tasting, we met lovely new folks and reconnected with many of our friends and communities.

We've got more community events coming up like the Juneteenth Community Celebration this Sat Jun 13 in Bellevue, and then next Sat Jun 20 at Woodland Park Zoo for Tasting Flight . See us at the bar during our regular hours to celebrate Pride & Juneteenth this month.
