Announcing Footprint Wine Tap’s NEW Spring Wine RELEASE & Happy Earth Month!

🎉🥂🍷🌎🍷🥂🎉

We have been busy these past few months preparing our newest wine releases and are excited for our ‘24 Roussanne Marsanne blend, a single varietal ‘24 Mourvèdre, and our inaugural Reserve wine, ‘22 Syrah Reserve!

Ken Dillon, Footprint Wine Tap’s Owner and Winemaker, leaned into letting the ‘24 grapes do even more talking, gently pushing the wine in aging vessels, and allowing a more casual approach to our wine’s potential. That led us to some fun, complex yet easy drinking, and tasty wines. These wines are intentionally made and with low intervention techniques to enjoy now and will also age well for the next few years, if you want to wait!

We’re also celebrating Earth Month this April and are happy we can join the annual emphasis on our planet’s health and sustainability practices. Footprint Wine Tap is one of the rare local WA wine producers committing more than half of our wine production to reusable stainless-steel keg packaging and can reduce our carbon footprint by up to 95% for glass and carafe pours, and Growler Fill-ups.

And we celebrate and join many of the producers around the world who practice utilizing minimal glass bottle packaging by sourcing lighter weight bottles, minimal labels, no foils and fixtures. These are some of the tiny to mighty ways we can continue to reduce our carbon footprint that can make a difference to our cost, energy and landfill requirements.

FROM WOBURN TO NOW: We Got Next

1940. John June Lewis, Sr., first Black winemaker in the US opened Woburn Winery's doors.

2026. We're standing on his shoulders, and we're just getting started.

Here's what 86 years of Black excellence in wine looks like:

Sidney Rice (Dossier Wine Collective) pouring next to John Joubert (Black Éden 1912 Bourbon). Dexter Meadows (Meadows Estate Vineyard & Winery) sharing space with Channing Frye (Chosen Family Wines). Sean Perryman (40 Acres Blending Co), Ken Dillon (Footprint Wine Tap), and Derek Baljeu (Knights Bridge Winery) all at one table.

And Celebrity Chef Jerome Brown making sure the food matches the moment.
