We’re excited to release a new vintage of Tove and Val, two cornerstone beers in our oak-aged farmhouse series—each shaped by time in oak, our house culture, and Washington-grown fruit at peak expression.

Tove
Tove is our oak-aged farmhouse ale with blackberries and a bronze medal winner at the 2023 World Beer Cup.
A mainstay in our fruited oak-aged series—and the very first we ever released—Tove has become one of the defining beers in our program. In 2023, it was awarded a Bronze Medal at the World Beer Cup, recognition that speaks both to the quality of the fruit and the care taken through blending and aging.
Brewed with exceptional Triple Crown blackberries grown by , the fruit leads the way with deep, juicy berry character layered over a blend of oak-aged ales.
This year’s batch shows bright notes of ripe blackberry and subtle tartness, rounded by hints of toasted pie crust, vanilla, and soft oak. A restrained acidity carries through the palate, letting the fruit remain the focal point from start to finish.

Val
Val is our oak-aged farmhouse ale refermented on Washington-grown Montmorency cherries from Rowley & Hawkins.
Cherries have a long and storied history in beer, and Val is our interpretation rooted in that tradition—built with patience and a focus on ingredient integrity. We chose Montmorency cherries for their natural tartness and complexity, avoiding the more common sweet varieties in favor of something more structured and expressive.
The result is a beer that bridges old-world inspiration and local agriculture: bright cherry candy aromatics layered with a lively, expressive yeast character. Underneath, subtle baking spice, almond skin, and oak vanillin round out a dry, structured finish.
