Spinnaker Bay Brewing

Spinnaker Bay Brewing Spinnaker Bay Brewing is a 100% women founded and owned microbrewery. We brew big, flavorful, award winning beers. Follow us on twitter . Cheers!

Spinnaker Bay Brewing brews big beers with attitude. Our tap room is described as having a New Orleans feel where everyone can relax, play games, socialize and drink great beer. We don't add sugar, extracts or filter our beer. Folks are invited to bring in any food they like or purchase food here. There is a large free parking lot on site. We are always brewing up something new. Sorry no kids or pets at this time due to our current licensing but who knows what the future holds.

To sail or to brew, that is the question.

Even though we are no longer operating, you can still have A Little Dinghy Blonde, High Heel IPA or The Hummer Amber Ale if you brew it on your PicoBrew with the PicoPaks of our recipes. Keep watching for Don’t Panic! Porter and Keel Over Scotch Ale. Our former Head Brewer Jack Phillips works at PicoBrew. We are so proud of him and so proud to be partners with PicoBrew.

To our friends of Spinnaker Bay Brewing,

Recently Elissa and I sold our equipment and our space to NW Peaks Brewery. I was diagnosed with cancer last year and am still recovering, which was our reason for selling. The decision to sell was very difficult. Designing and building the brewery as well as creating our great beers was all truly a labor of love. It was important to us to keep the brewery in our neighborhood and sell to someone in our brewing community.

We gave Kevin of NW Peaks the right to use our brand and recipes temporarily while he gets established in the area. He kept our brew team (Josh Rosen & Ariel Klein) together so they are still kicking out great beer. NWPeaks
will continue to host the All Star Women's Blues Jam and other great Spinnaker Bay events. We look forward to seeing the NWPeaks team take our brewery to the next level. Please support our friend Kevin and the NWPeaks team.

Elissa and I still own the Spinnaker Bay, brand and recipes. We are also still developing recipes (PicoPaks)for PicoBrew. Our former lead brewer, Jack Phillips, works for PicoBrew now.

Who knows? We may be back in the future but for now we are getting ready to go sailing.

Thanks for all your support for the past four years. It was a great ride. See you at the next Blues Jam!

Cheers!
Janet & Elissa

Thanks to all who helped us raise money for cancer research. Hope you enjoyed our collaboration brew with NW Peaks, Perky Peaks. It was a beautiful, windy day in the water with boats full of love! Thanks for sharing your pictures, Jan.

At daybreak the prospects for terrific weather looked drab, but by mid-day the Purpose of Pink Boat shone bright, stirred the breeze, and lifted spirits throughout the fleet. What fun! Boats big and small fully engaged ashore and on the race course – champions all!
