Cyborg Unicorn Story Hour is an open mic reading series in the Seattle area. We will have up to fifteen or so seven-minute open mic slots. (Yes that is more than an hour but I like the phrase "story hour" too much!) Science Fiction, Fantasy or Horror stories are encouraged but not required. Songs and other kinds of performances are also welcome! Please come on by if you are interested in sharing or listening to strange tales!

Sign up for open mic starts at 6:30 PM. Readings will begin at 7 PM.

Feel free to invite other writers, performers, or fiction fans that you know!

Join us for a celebration of Spring & WA mead!

Celebrate the Nectar of the Gods with WA Mead Makers! Eight local meaderies will be on hand to pour their Spring favorites in our covered outdoor street cafe. Come mead the makers, sample a variety of meads, and take home a bottle or two.

There will be three sessions from 12-2p, 130-330p, and 3-5p. Participating Mead Makers include:

Contrivance Mead - Tukwila, WA
Oppegaard Meadery - Tukwila, WA
Æsir Meadery - Everett, WA
Good Buzz Brewing Co. - Centralia, WA
Valhalla Mead - Lakewood, WA
Mr. B's Meadery - Seattle, WA
Jötunheim Meadery - Buckley, WA
Hierophant Meadery - Whidbey Island, WA

Tickets include six tokens to be redeemed for
2.5oz mead pours. Extra tokens may be purchased at the event. A featured version of our kitchen and bar menu will be available for purchase within the sampling space. You may also purchase bottles of your favorite meads to take home with you.

Guests may join us inside the beer hall after sampling meads for our full kitchen and bar menu, including full size mead pours and our roaring firepalce!

Your ticket is only valid for the session you select. We have limited space. Designated Drivers are welcome to join without a ticket.

21+ only. No refunds. Transfers allowed. No pets please.

3/3/26 Menu Update!

🐉Eirdu's Light is in Stock! Our special batch made for a Magic The Gathering Release event at ! (Isilu's Shadow coming soon!)

We're also changing our full strength bottled mead pour sizes to the USDA , FDA and CDC standard pour size of 5 ounces. This helps us prevent overserving for the safety of our patrons and allows us to get an extra pour out of each bottle. After a year of rising costs of, well, everything, we're doing our best to stay afloat and operate openly with transparency to all of our patrons.

Thank you all for your continued support - We appreciate you sticking with us throughout the years in Fremont!
