Shenanigans Thanks to all our loyal customers for a fun 2022 season. See you in February! Our flagship evening is Reggae Tuesday. But the eclecticism doesn’t end there.

Shenanigans is a nightlife hub that has been jamming and jumping for more than 30 years. We feature great acts like Rebel Vibe, Passion, Jah Works and Creation. We hand select the bands to ensure they have the authenticity and roots of the Caribbean. On the weekends, Shenanigans Niteclub is known for the best DJ’s based out of Philly. With its large dance floor and center stage, Shenanigans is one

of the few proper dance clubs at the shore. Depending on the night (or day) of the week, you can expect a diverse mix of dance parties and music spun by DJ’s who keep the dance floor moving.

We’ve just said goodbye to a longtime employee and friend.
 
Over the years, you’ve undertaken the many rolls we’ve asked you to fill.  Rarely turning an ask or opportunity down.  From mastering and then training others how to check IDs, to working morning bar shifts after leaving just hours before.  You also did the hardest job of all, the front door of the Dead Dog. All the while keeping a positive attitude and a level head when customers often did not.  You were an indispensable employee for more than your hard work.  You were a mentor to new employees, helping them understand the job, and in doing so you elevated those around you.
 
From the beginning you became part of the crew, our bar family, where thick skin and a sense of humor is a must.  You were a core person of our place and became part of our personality.  We will miss your wry sense of humor and easy laugh.   And we will celebrate your life for years to come in the many memories and stories that you’ve left behind.  The place will not be the same without you.
 
In this time of grief, our hearts and thoughts go out to his family and friends for their sudden and unexpected loss.
 
Rest well Andy, you will be missed.
