I'm a little pi**ed and I may be overreacting but here we go. I'm doing my change for the bar today and realized I need $50 dollars in quarters, $600 in 5's and like $145 in 1's so I go up to my bank, which is Community Bank on Davis street.and go thru the drive thru and the lady right off the bat rudely says yes, and I said I need some change and she rudely says what do you want. I said 600 dollars in 5's and she quickly responds, dont have it, I say $50 dollars in quarters, and a louder response, Dont have it, and then ask for 145.00 in 1's and she walks away and then comes back and said I could do the ones and kinda stares at me and I said yeah, I'll take that. When she comes back to the window , I ask why I couldn't get change, I've been coming to this back for over 20 years, her rude response was Don't have it. No explanation and walked away from window. That's exactly what happened to the T, no exaggerating , exactly how it happened. I was puzzled and mad , so I went to my other bank up the road and went to Penn East and walked in and asked the lady for the same change and it took her approximately 3 mins to get my 5's and quarters. I did go to my bank at 11:30 and they close at 12 and there was 1 car in the lane next to me and 2 next to that lane but where is one supposed to go and get change when I need it, I would figure a bank. And now I have to go back Monday because I'm pretty sure she shorted me on my ones! I got 95 back and I never go up the bank for under a 100 for anything. So I think she shorted me 50 but don't quote me on that until I check on Monday to see if they're over. Got me so flustered! Never been treated that way at a bank EVER!!!!!!! Just had to get it off my chest. Do I feel better!! Nope. lol. But I thank the lady at Penn East for getting me my 5's and quarters! I've always had great service up at Community Bank, Renee and Jess are Rock Stars. Not sure what happened today.
