Bayou Beer Fest

Bayou Beer Fest South Louisiana's premier Beer Festival It all started outside a barn. Seriously. A barn. Joel Ohmer and Jim Barrett imagined a beer festival in Houma, Louisiana.

A festival that focused on BEER ... a festival run by a non-profit that would help educate the public about the joys of beer and home brewing. They'd host events, and advocate for the Tri-Parish area to receive the quality selection of beers that bigger metro areas receive. Glasses clinked, and soon Willie Rollins and Charles Gaiennie were part of the team that made this daydream become a reality.

Years later, we find ourselves having given over $15,000 to veterans causes such as the Tri-Parish Veterans Shelter and the Louisiana Military Family Assistance Fund. So hoist a glass with us in November and help us salute those who serve our great country. Prost!

Today is the day we crown the Best Crawfish in town and the People's Choice of craft beers!!! Come out and celebrate Memorial Day with your friends and family with us today!!!

Freedom Fest & Bayou Beer Fest starts at 11am and ends at 830pm.

We will have a kids area with activities for the young and old, local vendors and Veteran Organizations, live music (did y'all see that lineup), a selfie tent (post those pics), Beer, and Crawfish... and much more!!

Tickets for beer can be purchased at the ticket tent located by the beer and crawfish area. Craft samples and canned beer will be available for purchase.
