Hello classmates of 1983.

There has been a lot of back and forth discussion about the 40th reunion.

I'm not sure if anyone else is working on it so I have contacted two locations in Illinois (since our last one was in Indiana) and have some pricing and dates.

One is CD and ME in Frankfort and the other is Embers in Lockport. Depending on how many people attend and what we decide, will determine the pricing and location.

It would help a lot to know a few things:

1. Who is interested in attending any reunion?

2. Which date is better?
Friday November 3rd or Friday November 17th?

3. How much are you willing to spend if you attend?

I'm trying to keep costs down so probably a cash bar and appetizers or some kind of buffet.

I can also probably negotiate some discounts on music and a photo booth if the majority want that.

Hi Classmates,

My thanks to everyone who purchased tickets for Saturday night. We now have over 70 guests for dinner and the rest of the evening. Reservations for dinner are now closed.

I have been asked by a number of you whether we will accept “drop-ins” at the door. I was not sure it was fair to those who paid for the evening upfront because without their commitment, we would have had to cancel the event.

To be fair, I asked several of the committee members how best to handle this. We all agree that the sole purpose of the reunion is to see our old friends and enjoy a nice evening with those we grew up with back in Calumet City. But we also wanted to be sure everyone was treated respectfully.

So after much thought and discussion…here is what we propose….

Since the whole evening of six hours is $65.00 (less the Pay Pal deduction) it comes to roughly $10.00 an hour.

Therefore…if anyone wants to join the event for the second half of the evening (9:00 p.m. to Midnight), you may come AFTER 9:00 p.m. for an admission price of $30.00 for the remaining three hours.

This includes an open bar, music & dancing, access to the photo booth with complimentary photo strips, a delicious sweet table, a class gift, and invite to the after-party!

The admission is open for any TF North Alumni and CASH ONLY—NO EXCEPTIONS!

We hope this will accommodate those with other obligations to join us later in the evening. Please pass this along to those who might be interested and we will see all of you on Saturday night.

Dear Classmates,
We have been asked by a few of you to publish the list of those attending the reunion. Here's the list of classmates who have purchased tickets to date. We have a number of commitments from others who are still trying to finalize their plans. I’ll do my best to keep the list as current as possible.

The last day to pay for tickets is Tuesday, Nov. 26th so there is still time if you know anyone who wants to come but hasn’t purchased a ticket as of yet. Remember, any T.F. North graduate is welcome to join us since we have seats still available.

If anyone has a problem with Pay Pal and making a ticket sale, please let me know.

Finally, don’t forget our class reunion is going to be featured on Tuesday, Nov. 26th at noon on the Chicago radio station 100.3 FM so please be sure to listen in no matter where you are in the country.
