American Legion Post 518 Auxiliary For God and Country, we advocate for Veterans, educate our citizens, mentor youth, and promote patriotism, good citizenship, peace and security.

Founded in 1919, the American Legion Auxiliary's mission is to support The American Legion and to honor the sacrifice of those who serve by enhancing the lives of our veterans, military, and their families, both at home and abroad.

The Friends of New Troy also distribute winter wear. They are especially in need of children's coats, snow pants and boots. They will also take any gently used adult coats, snow pants and boots as well. The Legion is taking a collection for them. Please bring anything you would like to donate and place it in the barrel next to the food drive box. Your help is appreciated. Our community thanks you!
