Friends, family, and distinguished guests:
Please raise your glass.
It is our tradition to toast an exceptional person when they embark on a new adventure. Today is no different.
Today, we toast…you. And we toast us. And we toast all of the incredible times that we’ve had together.
These last 18 months, we have steadily worked toward the singular goal of seeing you all again amongst the brick and amber, but it just isn’t meant to be.
So, let us gladly hoist our glasses and toast : the brunch life, bottomless mimosas, first dates, Taco Tuesdays, live music, Pho Mondays, Rosé All Day, brunch specials, gastro-pub dinners, Big A$$ Mules, Pork Belly Donut Slides, Savannah Burgers, Fritter Tots, and Mac ‘n’ Cheese.
Let us remember the characters who got us here from Jess to Not Becky to Carl to Sadaya to Twizz; from Chef Hollywood to Dang to Grizz to Starr to OG; from Mickey Hickey to Mickey Vickey to Burley to KitKat to Steph to Rancone to Breezy to The Cuban Commander and so so so many more. To all of our former team members - each of you had a part in pushing us forward and making us better.
Let us hold close the things we’ve seen together from wild hurricane seasons to Broughton Street construction to St Pat’s parades, celebrity chefs, election years, COVID, and the opening of a sister restaurant.
Through your first dates, reunions, bach brunches, holiday celebrations, anniversaries, and everything large and small in between - we have LOVED the last ten years with you. The pub, and our time there together, has meant everything to us.
So, please raise your glass. This is a celebration of what was and what is yet to be.
Look for us on our next adventure. And join us there.

If you’ve been on the west end of Broughton Street lately, you may have noticed that our sign is again visible!
The building is currently without both the scaffolding out front and the supports on the side lot. We do not know the permanency of this current state.
Yes, the condemned signs are back on the doors, but that piece was not a surprise and they were never officially removed, just affected by all of the moving pieces of construction and weather.
We continue to work with the building owners and city to attempt to move forward. As we creep toward the year anniversary of the structural collapse, so many things have happened…and not happened.
Keep following us for more updates as we have them. For now, we are just pleased to see our beautiful sign unencumbered for a while.☀️

On June 25, 2015 opened its doors for the first time.
We open from 11a-3p and simply HOPED at least one person would walk in. In true Savannah fashion, our business neighbors and restaurant partners came to support us and we got to drive our kitchen and service for the first time.
Armed with “Trampled by Turtles” radio, a new-to-Savannah Exec Chef, a still PENDING liquor license, and a team running on grit, passion, and humor we opened with a lot of hope and a little sleep.
Ten years on, we have had so many incredible moments in this little neighborhood pub; from weddings to shows to Taco Tuesday to bottomless mimosas brunches to so SO many first dates (so many of you have told us you had your first date with your current spouse or fiancé that we can’t handle it! 🥹) and we have loved it all.
After being closed for our 5-year anniversary due to COVID, we knew our 10-year had to be big. In June of 2024, we began plotting our countdown, our party, our big bash. However, Hurricane Helene had other plans and we find ourselves closed again at another 5-year milestone.
All of this is to say: thank you. The past 10 years have been a joyous, challenging, wonderful, crazy, amazing ride and you can rest assured that our new countdown: to a re-opening…will include the party of all parties and our beautiful Savannah community is invited. No RSVP required, you’re coming!
We love this community and cannot wait to return to it. Until then, we remain because we are

She’s officially demoed, friends. The spot, as we knew it, has been brought back to zero. Swipe ➡️ to compare where we were to where we are.
At this time, we continue to work in partnership with the building owners, architects, and the city of Savannah to see what is possible.
The good news is that everyone is hopeful we can do it all again.

UPDATE
Demo has officially begun in the OP.
You may be wondering what it is you are looking at here…to the left is the green wall that sat behind our back tables that led to the bathroom. Center would have been the tall wooden wall that separated the kitchen and dining room. Past that, what used to be our kitchen…all the way back to the building’s common area, freight elevator, and fire pump room.
We expect demo on the pub side to begin this week and then to the weeks thereafter.

Well, it’s been a long road these last six months since Hurricane Helene came through, leaving the kind of damage that still has us closed. Remaining on the sidelines and waiting to see what happens with the building has been exhausting, but this scale of project is bound to take some time.
We don’t really have a grand update for you, friends. Each day leaves us stunned, however, with the level of support Savannah continues to show us. From vendors pausing our accounts to fans reaching out for updates to fellow businesses asking to help….the support has sustained us as the waiting and wondering continues.

We loved getting a surprise visit from this week (caught here reconnecting with Mickey, our Brand Ambassador and first team member hired !)“Shanna Banana” was an incredible server with us before heading up north to pursue photography. With a smile that lit up the room, Shanna was one of our sweetest team members, always ready to help guests and her fellow teammates.
