Night one of the Fall League is in the books! 🍷🐝

Huge thank you to our small but mighty *hive* at 208 W**e Bar tonight! Special shoutout to our friends who'll show up no matter the day or the *lovely, yet unpredicatable* Savannah weather.. having your encouragement is what made tonight so fun. And another shoutout to w**etender Shannon (representing The Dewalts 🛠️), who kept the bar running smoothly with a level of pure, unhinged enthusiasm, AND somehow walked away with the W. We're all friends here, amirite? 💪

TONIGHT kicks off our official Fall Season League! Scores reset to zero for tonight's game to give everyone a fresh start, but ALL points from every season accumulate on the Master Leaderboard toward the Year-End Champion Trophy!

P-O-U-R Spelling is a 21+ adult spelling bee at 208 W**e Bar where teams and solo players test their vocabulary with a glass of w**e in hand for a chance to win prizes and city-wide bragging rights.

Age Requirement: All players and guests must be 21+ to be on the premises.
Minimum Spend: All players are subject to a $12 drink minimum (applies to alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages). Non-players may not be seated at reserved tables during game time. There will be limited seating for non-players.
Event Schedule: Seating and sign up starts at 6:00 PM. All players must arrive no later than 6:30 PM. Official game starts at 7:00 PM.
No Phones Policy: Phones must be put away during active game play.
Walk-ins welcome!

Grab your friends, grab a glass, and grab some free P-I-Z-Z-A!

Join us at 208 W**e Bar on Tuesday, October 6th as we officially kick off our Fall Season! Moving forward, we will host Pour Spelling every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month (unless sidelined by a private event). Happy hour starts at 6pm. PLAYERS, PLEASE ARRIVE NO LATER THAN 6:30PM.

Every point your team earns this Fall builds toward our grand goal: crowning the ultimate Year-End Spelling Champion. Come for the glory, the $50 bar tab.. and maybe even the year-end trophy. 💪

We’ll have complimentary pizza starting at 6:30 PM (while supplies last!), so come early, grab a slice, and get settled!

RESERVATIONS FOR DECLARED TEAMS:
Want to guarantee your table? Declared teams (teams that have already played in a previous bee) can reserve seats for specific event dates! Reservations must be made at least ONE WEEK prior to the event date to guarantee your spot. Email christina@208w**ebar.com to lock in your table!

NEW TEAMS & CASUAL PLAYERS:
No reservation? No problem! Just show up to play solo, with your team (or form one at the bar), and get ready to play—walk-ins are welcome but seats are limited.
