We live in a country where 50% of the population is constantly at odds with the other 50%. Let me tell you all something: WE'RE NOT THAT DIFFERENT. It is OKAY to disagree with your neighbor. The media doesn't want us to stop fighting us because when we do, they gain power. But at the end of the day, don't we all just want to love and provide for those we care about? The rest is just distractions.
September 11, 2001 was a terrible day for our entire country. But it also did something to us as people. We put aside all the BS and we pulled together as an undivided force that would do ANYTHING to keep our families and neighbors safe, regardless of political affiliation or beliefs.
We are a nation of bickering siblings that always seem to be at eachother's throats, but when a bully came over and tried to push us around we joined forces and took care of business.
That is the America I love and wish to see more of and it shouldn't require some terrible national tragedy to get us to come together like that. We have infinite potential when we stop being so damn angry and take care of eachother and ourselves. I hope we can all get onboard with that one day. Onward! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
