We are so excited to finally say it… The Woodshed in Douglas is opening its doors! ❤️🤍💙

Our Grand Opening will be Monday, September 14th, and after so much planning, renovating, dreaming, and hard work, we truly cannot wait to welcome everyone in and share this new adventure with you.

We also hope everyone comes through our doors with an open mind and a little sense of adventure of their own! The Woodshed is something completely new. We’re not trying to recreate the restaurant that was here before us or the one we named it after - and we’re not creating another version of Spectators Sports Bar & Grill. While all of these places have great significance, The Woodshed has its own personality, its own menu, and its own story to tell.

Our goal is pretty simple: serve up Southern-style comfort food, create a place where folks feel at home, and make every guest who walks through the door feel like part of the family.

We know opening a brand-new restaurant comes with a few learning curves along the way, and we appreciate all of the excitement, encouragement, patience, and support our community has already shown us. We can’t wait for y’all to finally come see what we’ve been working on!

🌟 EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: DAYTON GRIGG-MARTINEZ 🌟

This month, we’re excited to shine the spotlight on Dayton Grigg-Martinez!

Dayton is a local Saugatuck High School graduate who previously worked at Oval Beach, and we have been absolutely thrilled to have him join our Spectators family!

Dayton is truly one of the nicest young men you’ll meet. He comes to work with a great attitude, is always willing to learn something new, and never hesitates to jump in and help wherever he’s needed. That kind of teamwork and willingness to lend a hand means so much in this business — and it certainly doesn’t go unnoticed!

We’re so happy to have Dayton on our team and can’t wait to watch him continue to learn and grow with us.
