Five years ago on this weekend we opened the doors to for the first time, coincidentally on the same weekend as the Steinly Cup Brew Fest and the Solar Eclipse. Needless to say it was chaos. In hindsight, perhaps that weekend was setting the tone for operating a restaurant in general. The roller coaster of highs and lows that has been these last five year are indeed not for the faint of heart. But fortunately for us, the highs outweigh the lows. The outpour of love and support that we have received from our community to keep us alive through COVID, live music on summer evenings on the patio, the amazingly talented, fun loving and loyal staff we have (and had) the pleasure to work with, cribbage at the bar on Sunday’s, fly tying nights, Old Fashioneds on the couch, dice club, strangers finding common ground, Mac & Cheese, New Year’s Eve photo booth , back ally water balloon fights, , familiar faces reminding us why we keep on keeping on, a home away from home. We would not still be here today if not for all of you! Thank you for welcoming us into this community, Saratoga. There is no other place we would rather be. Come by this weekend and enjoy some specials (cough… bread pudding… cough) and drink an Old Fashioned with us.
