2013 Cigliuti Barbaresco Serraboella: Tasted by aaronfeigin. This w**e is finally in its drinking window. The previous bottle was not well integrated, this bottle was a revelation. Opened, decanted and filtered about 3 hours before drinking. It was beautiful. Such great sweet fruit and lovely tannin structure. So enjoyable. I look forward to drinking the remaining 2 bottles. No rush, I would guess this will be very drinkable for 3-5 more years. (94 pts.) - Tasted 9/24/2026.

A beautiful 10 year old Sonoma Coast Pinot. Incredible fruit and perfect balance, bravo , this beauty has entered its drinking window. The 2016 Kutch Pinot Noir Falstaff Vineyard paired perfectly with Salmon stuffed with Feta and Spinach, with a side of sautéed mushrooms. A couple hours in the decanter helped.

Started off the celebration weekend in style. A fantastic dinner at my favorite restaurant on the big island. Pleasantly surprised to find a 22 year old Loire Savennières - Chenin Blanc on the w**e list. My steak paired perfectly with the 2007 Philip Togni Cabernet Sauvignon fatty we brought. Love celebrating with my love . Shout out to Eric and Bianca for taking amazing care of us, as always.

I take a short break from posting about W**e! Saturday, June 13th, I got to be in one of my happy places that I NEVER thought I would be again. I flew down to LA and got to see my favorite band of all time, the two surviving members of the Holy Triumvirate, Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, Words can't describe how amazing it was. Goosebumps as I write this thinking about the songs, goosebumps throughout the concert listening to the songs. No one could ever replace Neil Peart, .nilles is INCREDIBLE in her own right, playing key parts as Neil did, and making other parts her own. The set list was truly EPIC, so many songs that I would say are among my favorites, also seeing 2112 in its entirety, and hearing Farewell To Kings, which they hadn't played in concert since that tour in 1979. I started going to see them on the Moving Pictures tour in 1981 in both NYC and Nassau Coliseum. They retired after their last tour in 2015, and when Neil died, I figured they would never play again. Pure joy is all I can say to describe it. Seeing sing her part of Time Stand Still was awesome. I will definitely be going again in San Jose, and probably Seattle. It was truly an amazing experience that I loved in the moment. Didn't take too many pictures because I wanted to just focus on their performance. For two guys in their 70s, I still can't believe how hard they play the songs they wrote so long ago. For those interested, here are links to the setlist and the ENTIRE concert. Not sure how that is legal so the concert link on YouTube might disappear.
